Home Textiles

I am a textile designer, specialising in embroidery and mixed media. I love creating contemporary patterns for home textiles like bedding and wallpapers.

My designs are mostly inspired by nature and history and I really enjoy collecting historical research from around the world, then converting it into contemporary designs.

As an embroidered, my favourite amongst all embroidery machines is the ethos digital embroidery machine, Cornelly and the Jukie freehand machine. I test and samples on these embroidery machines before making final pieces

I also create print designs for home textiles like bedding and wallpapers.

Creating fresh and beautiful colour pallet is also one of my strong skill.  I think I have a good understanding of colour balance and colour contrast.

having a background culture of Pakistan and knowing textile practice in Pakistan, my goal is to encourage textile craft in Pakistan.
